I am so impressed and happy with my experience at EyeSmith! Every employee is knowledgeable and confident about the products they sell. I was also blown away by how attentive and gracious each worker was to every customer. When I first walked in, I talked briefly with an employee and then told him I wanted to browse by myself for a bit. After I found two frames I liked, I wanted advice and that same employee materialized. He gave me helpful input and then suggested some frames he had been setting aside based on the few things I had mentioned when I met him. Based on his choices, it was evident that he knew just what I liked and he was very skilled at his job. I trusted him right away. He was never pushy and took care to listen to details that I liked or didn’t like. I ended up buying two pairs that he picked out and I couldn’t be happier!! Now that I’ve had my glasses for a few weeks, I can say I am spoiled in every way! My glasses are top quality, they look like they were made just for me, and the service I received every time I went into the EyeSmith goes unmatched anywhere else! I HIGHLY recommend, especially since I plan on going back from now on. If I could give ten stars, I would!

I moved to Kansas city in 2018. Became a customer in 2019. Kevin helped me first and did a wonderful job. Very knowledgeable. Well in 2022 was time to get new glasses so I went back EyeSmith an was helped by Rand. A nice gentleman who I have found to be very knowledgeable about his works. Since I moved here from Florida and spent alot of time on the water polarized sunglasses have always been my choice. This Rand suggested an amber lense with the polarization. I was skeptical but I decided to give his advice a try. This is were I need to tell you that I am a truck driver and I can spend up to 11 hrs a day behind the wheel of a 18 wheeler in all kinds of weather. When Rand found that out he was very sure that the Amber lense was what I needed. Well by God he was right. I have had them now for several months and what a difference his suggestion has made in my life. I have had been able to see better in fog, rain, snow, and even Sunshine. Rand was so right. I will be a life time customer for EyeSmith. Thank you Rand for being the professional that you have proven yourself to be.

I live in NW Shawnee and I am happy to drive to Green Hills Road for the service and selection at Eyesmith, for the second set of eyeglasses now. I originally heard their advertisement on the radio, talking about how they use a highly accurate laser mechanism to measure your prescription placement in your lenses, over a ruler and Sharpie. This caught my attention, because this was how my optometrist at the time was doing it. I wear trifocals, suffer from migraines and if my correction wasn’t effortless, my sensitive brain would just “freak out”. I found Rand and Janeel the most warm and welcoming people, who take time with you to try on as many frames as you want (such a wide-ranging, cute selection) and ensure your prescription will be placed accurately in your lens. For me, it means no matter where I look through my frames, the proper correction is just “there”…no battling with awkwardly placed lines. I love my unique frames and will continue to make the drive. When you’ve found your match, you stick with it.

If you need to wear eyeglasses, this is definitely a place you want to purchase from. I have worn glasses for many years and appreciate beautiful eyewear but more importantly I want to self. I am able to do with the eyeglasses Janeel helped me select. The experience was amazing. She selected several pairs, then took a photograph of me in each of the pairs so I could see what I looked like from both the front and side views. Then we narrowed the selection down to the pair I purchased. I received the finished pair and have been wearing them for one week now. These eyeglasses are the best quality and most functional glasses I have ever worn. I highly recommend you try the shop.

My eyes are pretty bad and the glasses I’ve been getting from the doctor’s optical department just weren’t working. Between sitting in front of a computer all day to driving, I was extremely frustrated with my inability to see clearly. I decided to make the drive to see if the ads were true. They absolutely are. From the decision making process for frames (I got input from the owner, his wife, and the optician I was working with) to an explanation of the lens technology, to not allowing me to leave the store until my new glasses fit perfectly, the experience was actually enjoyable and educational. All the staff went above and beyond helping me find something that was both fashionable, fit my face shape and my wallet!
